This is a simple but delicious snack. A twist to your daily toast. A great way to start your day as a breakfast meal, or a mid-day snack as a pick me up. Oh, as always, it's vegan!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 slice of bread of choice
- 2 tablespoons of almond butter (we used deep roast smooth here)
- handful of pomegranate seeds
- Agave syrup (optional)
RECIPE
- Toast the slice of bread in a toaster (to your preference but not too dark)
- Spread a generous serving (at least 2 tablespoons) of the deep roast smooth almond butter
- Sprinkle a handful of pomegranate seeds on top
- Add agave syrup as optional
The combination of the deep roast almond butter with the sweet and tangy pomegranate seeds is sublime. Umami! 🤤
